Minutes of Extra Ordinary Meeting held at 18:00 on Wednesday 17th June 2026
Present: Cllrs D Hanson. M Poole, and M West.
Apologies: Cllrs E Smith and B Hornby
In attendance: Annie Maynard (Clerk/RFO).
Absent : Cllrs A Redout and J Goldsmith
C26/049. Chair’s Welcome
The Chair welcomed everybody to the meeting.
C26/050. Apologies
Apologies were received and accepted from Cllrs E Smith and B Hornby.
C26/051. To receive Declarations of Interest under the Localism Act 2011
There were no additional Declarations of Interest.
C26/052. Financial Matters
RESOLVED that the following documents be agreed and published.
i) Agreement of Year End Accounts
ii) AGAR forms
iii) Ratification of Asset Register
iv) Insurance Renewal
v) Payment of Accounts
C26/053. Nomination of the Victoria Tavern, High Street, Hogsthorpe, as an Asset of Community Value (ACV)
RESOLVED
1) That the Parish Council submits a formal nomination to East Lindsey District Council for the listing of the Victoria Tavern, High Street, Hogsthorpe, as an Asset of Community Value under the provisions of the Localism Act 2011 and the Assets of Community Value (England) Regulations 2012.
2) That the Council considers the Victoria Tavern to meet the statutory criteria for listing, on the basis that:
i) It has recently furthered the social wellbeing and social interests of the local community through its long‑standing use as a public house and social hub; and
ii) It is realistic to think that such community‑beneficial use could resume within the next five years.
3) That the draft nomination form and supporting evidence presented to the Council are approved for submission to East Lindsey District Council.
4) That the Clerk is authorised to:
i) Finalise and submit the nomination documentation>
ii) Provide any additional information requested by East Lindsey District Council; and Act as the Parish Council’s point of contact for all matters relating to the nomination.
5) That the Council will publish a short public notice on its website and noticeboard informing residents that the nomination has been submitted.
