Hogsthorpe Annual Parish Council Meeting
Minutes of meeting held at 18:00 on Wednesday 13th May 2026
Present: Cllrs E Smith, M Poole, M West and B Hornby.
Apologies: Cllrs D Hanson and A Redout
Absent : Cllr J Goldsmith
In attendance: Annie Maynard (Clerk/RFO), and one member of the public.
C26/020. Election of a Chairperson for the 2026/27 Civic Year
It was noted that although Cllr Hanson had submitted apologies for this meeting, she had indicated a willingness to stand for Chair again, and had requested that Cllr Poole take the Chair for this meeting.
It was RESOLVED unanimously that Cllr Hanson be elected Chair for the 2026/27 Civic Year.
C26/021. Confirmation of Playpark Committee members
It was RESOLVED that Cllrs M Poole, M West and E Smith be appointed as members of the Playpark Committee.
Mr G Ainsworth is also to be invited to attend meetings.
C26/022. Confirmation of Human Resource Committee members
It was RESOLVED that Cllrs B Hornby and E Smith be appointed as members of the Human Resources Committee.
