An extraordinary meeting of the Parish Council will take place on

Hogsthorpe Village Hall

Prior to the meeting there will be a Public Forum commencing at 6.30pm. Members of the public and press are welcome.  During the first 15 minutes members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council. 

The council meeting will commence at 6.45pm or at the closure of the public forum – whichever is the sooner.


This notice summons all members of the council to attend or submit their apologies to the clerk at the earliest opportunity.

    a) Village Boundary Fences
    b) Grass cutting and strimming of public footpath running alongside the playing fields
    c) Thank volunteers for tidying heritage garden
    d) Review of policies and procedures
38.    To resolve to instruct Alex Johnson to carry out the Churchyard footpath upgrade for £5,230.00
39.    To resolve to instruct RDR timber to install a bench at Threeways at a cost of £400.
40.    To resolve to agree Sid Dennis install a larger, 660 litre, bin in the churchyard at a cost of £15.15 plus VAT per collection.
41.    To resolve to instruct Robert Aldrich to carry out the bi-annual maintenance of hedge and lime trees in the churchyard at a cost of £360.
42.    To review the Parish Council Churchyard Burial regulations and fees.
43.    To review issues raised by the playing fields committee.
44.    To discuss whether to apply for funding for trees in the parish through the tree planting scheme
45.    To discuss whether to purchase a sound system for the meetings in the village hall
46.     To confirm date and time of next meeting
