MINUTES OF MEETING OF HOGSTHORPE PLAYING FIELD COMMITTEE
HELD ON Wednesday 03 June 2026
Present: Cllrs M West, M Poole & Annie Maynard (Clerk) and one member of the public. In attendance: Mr G Ainsworth
PP26/020. Chair’s Welcome: The Chair welcomed everybody to the meeting and thanked them for attending.
PP26/021. Apologies: Cllr E Smith
PP26/022. Declarations: To receive Declarations of Interest under the Localism Act 2011
None
PP26/023. Minutes of the meeting: The Minutes of the meeting held on Wednesday 6th May 2026 were approved and signed by the Chair as a true and accurate record.
PP26/024. Finance:
It was NOTED that the bank have still not given access to their online system to the Proper Officer.
PP26/025. Car Boot report & Car Boot signs
It was NOTED that the signs have been ordered and are due to be delivered next week.
PP26/026. Playpark - Report on Repairs
It was NOTED that a swing had broken and had been cordoned off. The Chair will investigate the cost of a replacement.
PP26/027. Maintenance - progress update on any matters outstanding
It was NOTED that we are waiting for the electrician to visit and all other matters are being progressed satisfactorily.
PP26/028. Report - update from inspection and PAT testing, lighting progress update
It was NOTED that these items are scheduled to be completed on Friday.
PP26/029. Next Meeting – 5:30pm Wednesday 1 July 2026, Hogsthorpe Village Hall.
