That an extra ordinary meeting of the Parish Council is to take place on Wednesday 17 June 2026 at 6:00pm, at Hogsthorpe Village Hall, Hogsthorpe. Parish Councillors are hereby summoned to attend.

5. Nomination of the Victoria Tavern, High Street, Hogsthorpe, as an Asset of Community Value (ACV)
To consider the following proposal
That Hogsthorpe Parish Council RESOLVES as follows:
That the Parish Council submits a formal nomination to East Lindsey District Council for the listing of the Victoria Tavern, High Street, Hogsthorpe, as an Asset of Community Value under the provisions of the Localism Act 2011 and the Assets of Community Value (England) Regulations 2012.
That the Council considers the Victoria Tavern to meet the statutory criteria for listing, on the basis that:
It has recently furthered the social wellbeing and social interests of the local community through its long‑standing use as a public house and social hub; and
It is realistic to think that such community‑beneficial use could resume within the next five years.
That the draft nomination form, boundary plan, and supporting evidence presented to the Council are approved for submission to East Lindsey District Council.
That the Clerk is authorised to:
Finalise and submit the nomination documentation;
Provide any additional information requested by East Lindsey District Council; and Act as the Parish Council’s point of contact for all matters relating to the nomination.
That the Council will publish a short public notice on its website and noticeboard informing residents that the nomination has been submitted.
