Minutes Of Meeting Of Hogsthorpe Playing Fields Committee Held On Wednesday 7th October 2020
Present:

A written report was submitted and read out by Cllr V Worley. (Copy attached)
The following additional points were made:
1. Cllr Wildman reported that after receiving several high quotes for the broken cross member of the swing he had approached a contractor used previously who came up with the much cheaper quote of around £703.76.
2. The Secretary read out the letter from Amazon Smile offering the charity an account which would allow the charity to benefit from a small donation each time someone used the account to purchase from. It was agreed that this should be implemented.
3. Cllr V Worley has applied for funding for adult exercise equipment worth £8-9000 to form an outdoor gym. Cllr Worley has also applied for funding for an outside gym suitable for people with disabilities. This is in addition to the funding application previously made by K Hayes.
4. Cllr Wildman thanked A Green, T Smith and K Hayes for clearing away the whole of the picnic area.
