Environmental Policy Statement
Hogsthorpe Parish Council is committed in minimizing the impact of its activities on the environment.
The key points of its strategy to achieve this are:
• Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.
• Copy and produce double sided documents wherever possible.
• Use email wherever possible to reduce postal and paper costs.
• Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its members and parishoners.
• Source and promote products, which minimize the impact on the environment
• Car share whenever possible to and from council business.
• Meet or exceed all the environmental legislation that relates to local government.
