Transparency Code

TRANSPARENCY CODE

The Transparency Code is issued to meet the Government’s desire to place more power into citizens’ hands to increase democratic accountability. Transparency gives local people the tools and information they need to hold public bodies to account.

To comply with the Code, Hogsthorpe Parish Council will publish onto the notice board and web site:-

A current list of Councillors or member names and responsibilities

Draft Minutes of formal meetings

Agendas of formal meetings, no later than 3 clear working days prior to the meeting.

Annually no later than 1st July:

All transactions/items of expenditure above £500

End of Year Accounts
