6. Grants update
Confirmation had been received that £8400 had been granted for the Monkey Wall and arrangements were in hand to have it installed.

7. Ideas for fundraising
It was agreed that anything which happened in the village was not being publicised.  JP suggested that a village newsletter could be circulated through the shop, the village hall, the church and the pubs.  ES to have a go at putting something together on an A4 sheet.  The main problem would be getting information to ES of news and upcoming events for publication.

JP had also talked to the shop and they were in agreement to house a questionnaire for completion by villagers (KH suggested that this could be the same as the YMCA survey)

There is much to do to make it the special facility for the villagers to use.  Volunteers were needed to help – JP to contact someone she knew to ask for practical assistance.

A picnic in the park is suggested for a Saturday during the school holidays with a pizza van and refreshments being served from the changing rooms.

8. Date of next meeting
Next meeting was set for 10am on Tuesday 11th June at the Playing Field changing rooms.
