Minutes of Hogsthorpe Parish Council E-meeting
6th May 2020
Due to the lockdown of all meetings due to Covid-19 pandemic, decisions were taken by email.
1. Financial matters
It was unanimously resolved that:-
a) the Asset Register showing a total of £14152 be approved.
b) The year end accounts showing a balance of £28585 be approved.
c) The Certificate of Exemption stating that income and expenditure did not exceed £25,000 was approved and signed by the Chairman.
d) The Annual Internal Audit Report 2019/20, showing that compliance with procedures and controls had been met be approved
e) The Annual Governance Statement for 2019/20, as circulated to all members, was approved and signed by the Chairman.
f) The Accounting Statements for 2019/20, as circulated to all members, was approved and signed by the Chairman.
2. Planning permission applications
i) N/084/00587/20 Hill View Caravan Park – Variation to Condition to extend the season to January – Objection on grounds that it is contrary to the Local Core Plan Strategy and it is in a ‘danger to most’ flood zone.
ii) N/084/00588/20 Hill View Caravan Park – Variation to Condition to extend the season to January – objection on the same grounds as 2i.
iii) N/084/00583/20 Hill View Caravan Park – Application for a further 63 caravans. Objection on the grounds that it is contrary to the Local Plan Policy SP15 and it is over-intensification of the existing site and totally incompatible with a rural area.
iv) N/125/00578/20 Helsey Farm Livery – siting of 15 static caravans, reception and exhibition centre, landscaping for two lakes and provision of internal access roads – objection on grounds that it is contrary to Local Plan Policy SP15.
